How do you keep learning on a daily basis?
I read every day and share the things I find. My team and I have created a channel where we share daily inspirations. I learn through sharing. Otherwise, it can be relatively static and filtered. One needs to see through other people’s lenses. That’s why being surrounded by diverse people is so critical.
What are your favorite books 📚?
– I just read Amin Maalouf’s Nos Freres Inattendus in 48 hours. It is simple and so relevant to what we are going through today.
– Exhalation by Ted Chiang was brilliantly immersive, futuristic but grounded in humanity.
– Talking to Strangers by Gladwell is simply a masterpiece in understanding today’s societal clashes and our biases.
What is your favorite podcast 🎧?
I am not a podcast person. Put me in front of a documentary anytime. I recommend the following:
Searching for Sugarman,– I dare you not to be moved on so many levels. Rising Phoenix, how dare we stay in our comfort zone as leaders after such inspiration. The Last Dance, the ultimate documentary on teamwork and leveraging unique skills to create pure magic and My Octopus Teacher about never settling for being just a spectator.
If you were to stay alone on an island and would only be allowed to bring one item, what would it be?
Is there anything else you would like to share? 🙂
Don’t wait to be inspired. Be the inspiration.
